People

As a Marie Curie Initial Training Network, people are at the heart of the AMEDEO network.

The consortium consists of teams from ten top academic and industrial organisations from around Europe:

  • The University of Leeds, Rolls Royce and Altair Engineering from the UK
  • Delft University of Technology and Advanced Lightweight Engineering from the Netherlands
  • The von Karman Institute from Belgium
  • The Technical University of Munich and DLR (German Aerospace Agency) from Germany
  • ONERA (French National Aerospace Agency), France
  • Koç University from Turkey.

Each partner will host at least one Early Stage Researcher (ESR) fellow, with 13 fellows spread throughout the network in total. All ESRs fellows will be registered on a PhD degree and will receive a tailored training programme designed to give them the expertise and transferable skills necessary to become aerospace research leaders of the future.

Additional expertise and secondment opportunities will be provided by the AMEDEO's Associate Partners:

  • Airbus Operations, France
  • SFE GmbH
